วัดพระปฐมเจดีย์ราชวรมหาวิหาร
พระอารามหลวงชั้นเอกที่มีประวัติความเป็นมายาวนาน อยู่คู่บ้านคู่เมืองนครปฐมมาตั้งแต่โบราณ มี พระปฐมเจดีย์ ซึ่งเป็นเจดีย์ที่ใหญ่และสูงที่สุดในประเทศไทย
องค์พระปฐมเจดีย์ปัจจุบันนี้ เป็นพระเจดีย์ทรงลังกา แบบสุโขทัย สร้างขึ้นในสมัยพระบาทสมเด็จพระจอมเกล้าเจ้าอยู่หัว ซึ่งสร้างครอบเจดีย์เดิมถึงสององค์ ได้แก่ เจดีย์ทรงสถูปสาญจีตามแบบอินเดียยุคพระเจ้าอโศกมหาราช และเจดีย์ทรงขอมโบราณ
นอกจากองค์พระปฐมเจดีย์แล้ว ในลานชั้นลดด้านทิศใต้องค์พระปฐมเจดีย์และพระอุโบสถมีพระประธาน พระพุทธรูปศิลาขาว ซึ่งเป็นสองในสี่พระพุทธรูปประทับนั่งห้อยพระบาท ปางแสดงธรรม ที่สร้างขึ้นในยุคทวารวดี
ในทุกปีทางวัดได้จัดให้มีงานเทศกาลนมัสการองค์พระปฐมเจดีย์ ในวันขึ้น 12 ค่ำ เดือน 12 ถึง วันแรม 5 ค่ำ เดือน 12 รวมทั้งหมดเป็นเวลา 9 วัน 9 คืน ให้ประชาชนได้มากราบไหว้เพื่อความเป็นสิริมงคล องค์พระปฐมเจดีย์เป็นที่ประดิษฐานพระบรมสารีริกธาตุขององค์พระสัมมาสัมพุทธเจ้า และเป็นสัญลักษณ์ และเป็นเสมือนศูนย์รวมจิตใจของจังหวัดนครปฐม
